Wes and Juliet 5-22-10 The Mill at Lebanon

I met Wes and Juliet last fall and did their engagement session for them. I instantly fell in love with this couple and could not have asked for a more perfect couple to shoot my first wedding for. Their wedding was originally scheduled for May 2 but the place went out of business...so they had to find a new venue and had to reschedule for May 22nd...but as most of you know May 2 was the day of the 500 year flood in Nashville so I am so happy for this couple that they wedding did NOT take place on that day. They are so blessed!!

Wes and Juliet saw each other before the ceremony so we were able to get some great photos of them together. Wes was in awe by the beautiful bride. She brought him to tears and I was fighting back tears too. It was such a sweet moment between the two of them.

The reception was a blast too. They had Karaoke and Wes sang "Everything I do, I do it for you" to Juliet...So adorable. You can tell this couple is going to have one happy loving marriage.

Love your neighbor

We are Nashville and we love our neighbors. We showed that love by coming out by the thousands this past weekend to volunteer to help rebuild our city. Tim and I were 2 of the 5,000 volunteers that helped out over the weekend in one of the hardest hit areas, a neighborhood called River Plantation, in Bellevue. The water rose in some areas in this neighborhood to over 5 feet. The majority of this neighborhood lost everything and some families are homeless. Their spirit is strong and determined and I believe that our volunteer team helped get them started on the road to recovery.
